Nominations are being accepted for the position of Tennessee PTA Secretary.
Nominations are due to Karen Davis by 6 PM EDT on Friday, June 15th. Nominations must include the interest form and biographical information.
To be eligible for election to the executive committee, nominees must have served a creditable term on the Tennessee Board of Managers.
Nominees will need to be able to attend the July 13-16, 2012 Board of Managers weekend and will need to be able to travel with the leadership traveling team July 21-28, 2012.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Parents from all over the state will attend Tennessee PTA Day on the Hill on Wednesday, April 18th at the State Capitol in Nashville to advocate for public education, schools, teachers, and students in Tennessee.
Parents from across Tennessee will meet at the State Capitol to attend Senate and House legislative sessions, Senate and House committee meetings, and meet one-on-one with legislators from their area.

Tennessee PTA honors statewide award winners each year with a Student Awards luncheon during the Tennessee PTA Annual Convention. For the Reflections program, winners at the state level move on to the National PTA competition. Students can also participate in theme search contests for each program and schools can apply for Tennessee PTA Arts in Education Mini-Grants.

NASHVILLE, TN - Tennessee PTA would like to invite the public to the Tennessee PTA 99th Annual Convention Thursday, May 3rd - Sunday May 6th at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville. The public is invited to attend for one day, two days, three days or all four days.
National PTA Secretary/Treasurer Laura Bay, from Washington State, will be our official representative from National PTA. National PTA President and Tennessee PTA Past President Betsy Landers, from Memphis, is also scheduled to attend the Tennessee PTA 99th Annual Convention.
Tennessee PTA has planned four full days of events for anyone who is interested in increasing parental involvement in their schools. The events include:
